I adored Adunni’s story. It was beautifully written and so sad in places. I felt so much for her and was willing her on every moment. The broken English writing was a bit difficult to grasp at first but eventually it flows and helps to build a greater picture of Adunni and her life. This was a book I would never have picked up if it wasn’t suggested as a book club pick but I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to read it. Well worth the step outside the comfort zone!
