challenging emotional informative reflective medium-paced

I don’t feel right reviewing memoirs, especially one I knew so little about. The voice of a reporter and a guarded person comes through in a vulnerable memoir. I struggled with the timeline and pacing at times with some of the jumps (partially due to my unfamiliarity). This book left me with a lot of points to think on and a deeper understanding of what is meant by and the logic behind ‘no human being is illegal’
