Helter Skelter: The True Story of the Manson Murders
by Vincent Bugliosi
challenging
dark
informative
mysterious
sad
tense
slow-paced
It starts off very slow if you are someone who is more interested in cults and how they operate rather than the investigation into murder, but once you get into the second chapter that vanishes. It is both comforting and unnerving to know that the LAPD has never once done their job properly, even when the victims are rich and white.
