I am obsessed with Ashwin. Please, please, PLEASE let his book come sooner rather later.

As much as I love this series, as much as I’m looking forward to seeing how it all ends and what happens next, as much as I’m excited for what this author duo has in store for everyone with their next series, I also have quite a bit of anxiety. Why? Because war has officially come to the sectors. It’s been building for a while, but in Beyond Ecstasy the conflict between Eden and the sectors finally explodes into violence. Guys, I am so worried over what’s coming.

Pleasepleasepleaseplease let it end well.

Beyond Ecstasy is Hawk and Jeni’s book. Hawk is from Sector Six, which farms the land and provides the food stores for Eden. Jeni was born in Eden, but escaped and fell in with Gia, Jared and Ace. Both are O’Kanes now and loyal to Dallas and Sector Four. They’ve danced around each other, Hawk watching Jeni when she dances at the Broken Circle (in fact he watches her all the time) and Jeni watching Hawk watch her, but he never does anything about it. But now that life is more perilous than ever and everyone is on edge and scared about what will happen between the sectors and Eden, living life to the fullest has never been more important. Which is why Hawk finally decides to go after the woman he’s been dreaming about. And they come together despite all their misgivings and doubts and uncertainties.

Hawk wants something permanent pretty fast which scares Jeni and makes her wonder why he’s rushing when they haven’t really gotten to know each other. He blames himself for things he shouldn’t and worries she won’t want him for anything more than sex while she holds back emotionally at first because she is afraid to think about the future… but wow, these two are hot and by the end crazy in love. Speaking of the end, I loved it. It was perfect for this couple.

In the meantime the sectors are coming together and doing their damnedest to figure out a way to win in the war against Eden. Maybe sometimes I get so caught up in the romances that I miss the bigger picture, but for some reason it hit home in Beyond Ecstasy how many of Dallas’s people come from other places. I started to go through all the characters in my head and remember their pasts and where they grew up before they took ink. So many things are going on throughout the sectors, so many people playing important roles and digging in to do what needs to be done… I’m excited and scared of the final book in this series all at the same time. But what better couple to mark the end of this series than Nessa and Ryder. I’m so happy that Nessa is finally getting her chance at a crazy, sexy, hot relationship and happily ever after.

P.S. I am completely obsessed with Ashwin. He makes only a couple of brief appearances but OMG I can not wait for his book. Which I’m pretty sure will be in the new series. I think.

“You don’t have to feel the same way,” His lips feathered warm and soft across her forehead. Her cheek. The corner of her mouth. “But don’t fool yourself, Jeni. I want all of you. And I’ll fight for my big dreams as long as I’m breathing.”
