Anything King is an auto-buy for me. And Holly is my all time favorite character of his. This got me interested in the beginning, lost me a bit in the middle and pulled me back in for the finale. Not his finest work. But as I often say, a bad Stephen King is still better than most of the crap out there. I find his writing style easy to get into and like reading an old friends work. I hope his next is better, this one just was a bit too ridiculous and not developed enough, even felt like Holly wasn't Holly until the end.
