Favourite Quote: “Sorrow helps one grow. Those things you suffered through weren’t in vain. They gave you perspective. They gave you strength. The thing I’ve come to learn about having a partner you love is this. It’s not always going to be easy, but it’s always going to be worth it“

Tropes: enemies to lovers, fake engagement, forced proximity, brothers best friend, single mum

I did really enjoy this book and it think the fact I didn’t read the blurb meaning Rhys cam out of left field was a classic!! It had sas and real enemies to lovers and the layers of the characters as always!!

Loved Dylan from book 1 she was so fiery preferred her in this book the other she was a bit scatty but in this you could see behind the mask! I think if the epilogue had maybe her in her new job would have been cool? Maybe that will be in the next books?

Rhysand is a name everyone loves and I always butcher the pronunciation!! But he was an interesting character his layers just kept peeling! Right until the end! I think I would have liked more from Row and Rhys some sort of blessing? I don’t know!!

Gravity!! Awhhhhhhh she was soooooo cute!! I wasn’t sure how the story would work but it really did and she was adorable with Rhys!

Row and Cal making an appearance was fab loved it so much they are just so ying and yang! Hahah

The mum finding love was so sweet! Tucker was an ass grade A assssss but it definitely added more to the story? Kieran I don’t like either that was so uncalled for what he did it’s not his place at all to presume and set that up! His sexuality surprised me from the last book and you had to wait a while to figure it out too.. yeah his suckedddd but maybe a redemption in his own love story??

Tate and Gia haveeeee to be next I am low key hoping all those favours will be used to get Gia from Rhysand and Row I care for themmmm and I don’t want Tate to use them Ahhaha and Gia sounds sooooo badass and fun!

I found the cowboy old man so odd, funny but odd and he soured my view of Tate … but he gave of adorable dad / grandad vibes so a win in my book!

These covers for this series are simple yet soooo bright and eye catching I love the pinks and clouds on this cover so bright and inviting!

Overall I loved this book and I am loving this series! Personally the spicy scenes were not up my alley and parts of the book I did get lost or confused but that’s not a reflection of the book. Looking forward to book 3!!
