Savages by Don Winslow

4.0

t’s quite obvious that I’ve been on a Winslow kick recently, and there’s a good reason why; his books are very readable!

Stylistically, this was very different to anything else he’s written, almost chatty, like reading the diary of a friend, and the chopping and changing of chapter styles meant that this was very cleverly written. Additionally, the short chapters meant that “Just one more” became a regular theme!

Savages had a fantastic plot, and very enjoyable, well written characters. Another Winslow book that I can’t help but recommend!
