Twenty Years Later by Charlie Donlea
4.0

An excellent multi layered thriller that will keep you turning the pages and suprise you with each twist.

20 years after 9/11 a victim, Victoria Ford, is identified amongst the bone fragments stored for identification purposes. Avery Mason, the newest host of a wildly popular news show, is intrigued by the discovery and wants to see if there is a story she can bring to her show, for the 20th anniversary of 9/11.

It was quite jarring to read about 9/11 in a thriller novel. It was done so well that I wasn't put off. Yes there are some descriptions that are heart breaking. Overall it isn't entirely a book about 9/11 but it's mentioned throughout.

As Avery researches Victoria's life she's stunned to find out Victoria was a murder suspect in a high profile case before her death. Avery's episode is about to get a whole lot more interesting. But Avery has some secrets of her own, that little does she know, might about to be exposed.

With multiple point of views and so many crazy twists you'll fly through this novel. I really enjoyed it. Definitely better than many thrillers I've read recently.
