Tangled Threat by Heather Graham
2.0

I have enjoyed a number of Heather Graham's books and I found this story below her usual standards.

The book seemed patched together and it was more about Florida history with a lot of characters that weren't interesting to me. The romance and mystery seemed more of an afterthought. Brock and Maura didn't have much chemistry between them at first, and then all of a sudden they end up in bed together.

In addition, the climax of solving the mystery seemed rushed and farfetched. There were several details about the kidnappings and murders that just didn't make sense to me which I do not want to spoil here.

Unfortunately, I can't recommend this book.

I want to thank Ms. Graham and NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to review this book with no expectation to a positive review.
