The beginning of this book made me think it was going to be a sociological examination of a very deep and strange fantasy setting but then once the moths show up its just a cavalcade of misery and suffering until the very end. THAT BEING SAID I do love the setting, particularly the cactus people. A+ fantasy creatures all around.
