This was a good sequel, albeit not as good as the first book. I like where the plot is heading and hope that Bea continues to have the same character growth trajectory in the next book, but I had trouble interpreting some of the action and mind-sharing sequences in this one, so I hope that that part of the illustration is minimal in the last book in the series. Otherwise, I’m eager to see how this series resolves.
