No Plan B by Lee Child, Andrew Chid
4.0

The style is pretty similar to the last two reader books. Mostly the same as the solo Lee child books, but with some elements missing.

Initially I thought the faster pacing the books felt nice, but now I find myself missing some of the smaller things, like the overly descriptive scenes or the insights into the characters idiosyncratic thought process.

Small differences like that aside, the plot this book is interesting and compelling. Past couple bucks I've done a good job of mixing in action and history to keep tension high and engagement high.

The one thing this book does differently is we also follow two other story lines (that of course converge at the end) I honestly felt like we could have done without one or both of them. They were fine enough but I didn't feel they really added anything
