Into the Wilderness by Sara Donati
3.0

I enjoyed this book more at its beginning than its conclusion after 800+ pages. It was just too long for me. I can see why other readers compare it to Diana Gabaldon’s books. Sexual tension (think Jaime and Claire), wars (British, French and of course, the Scots), colonial NY (without the time travel). Life was hard in the 1700’s and this book had its fair share of challenges for its main characters. Will I read the next book in this series? Honestly, it depends on the number of pages.
