The first one was better because of the goryness. This one didn't have much of that. This book was much more tame than the first one. 

Spiciness doesn't occur until around pg. 200. The sexual tension was there, and Brynne keeps you guessing on when Leather and Lark will have s*x. 

I enjoyed this book. Lark is my favorite character, so it's good to get her story in this one.
