While I don’t think this had quite the pizzazz the first one did, this was a fantastic sequel. I think I disagree with the decision Astrid made at the end to be perfectly honest (can’t imagine a more fitting person to kill than goddamn sex trafficker of minors, ffs). I also found it a little too…convenient that a terrorism leader also wanted redemption? Of all of the things that go on in this book, that one always felt like a record-scratch moment.
I will read any more of these books that come out though with glee, and I hope the next one (if there is a next one) is about Booker!
