Unearthed
by Meagan Spooner, Amie Kaufman
**3 Stars**
Unearthed is described as Indiana Jones meets Lara Croft in space, which is spot on and that's exactly what made me pick it up. The story was well-written and I enjoyed the characters and the setting. It's a fast paced, action-packed adventure.
Problem is: I just had a hard time getting into it. I really wanted to love it, but I never felt like I truly got into the story and I can't really put my finger on it as of why. Maybe because it was incredibly slow at the beginning and didn’t pick up until the last 100 pages or so. I don't know...
I will still check out the sequel though, hoping it will get better.
