Mennonite in a Little Black Dress: A Memoir of Going Home by Rhoda Janzen

I heard the author talk at the Festival of Faith and Writing. She was quite funny... and also the tallest woman I've ever seen. Her memoir was good thought a little flighty. My favorite part were the stories about her mother - master of the nonsequitur. Living with her would make your head spin. Though Janzen makes a lovely case for why people put up with bad behavior from a spouse when love is involved, I will never understand a smart woman staying with such a psychologically cruel man for 15 years.
