i love 60s horror and this was just so good. the way levin wrote rosemary was so touching and felt so sympathetic and real. when i found out he wrote stepford wives i nearly squealed!! this man knows men are EVILLLLLL i was surprised how the women were written, i felt i saw myself in rosemary - even just down to the way she discusses her period. i think there’s a total sympathy for rosemary, she is not made fun of and is not a damsel. she is a victim of a societal pressure
the way she was dismissed as a women by so many aspects of society and the feeling of social isolation it was incredible!!! need to watch the film
