Love and Other Words was the perfect day to start off the new year! It kind of reminded me a little bit of When Harry Met Sally.

I will also say: the second chance, teenage love is typically does not meet my vibes but this book totally sucker punched me in the guts. And it wasn’t just the relationship you got to see bloom between Macy and Elliott, but also the relationship she has with her dad and the words her mom speaks to her through letters.

I think there is truly some magic in Christina Lauren writing. I can see why this is rated highly and much loved!

Just a lovely quote to leave you with (and if you are that one quote add to TBR kind of person 😚)

“ I haven’t been living without him. I’ve been nearly surviving. I want to share this life with him somehow. I just… Have no idea how that looks.”
