This book promised so much. Hell, I was excited for it af. but at first, it was an extreme drop of informations all at once (mainly cities country and all the characters), and mind you I had no map in my copy so it was impossible for me to read/enjoy/understand. To all the people comparing this to LOTR and idk what else idk on what you are on... BUT NO.
The whole time it was extremely fast-paced and so much informations/scenes were left out, why?! Like we go from the scene where one character meets another to suddenly them knowing each other for a week or so, then the main character not knowing who her father is at first then everyone knowing who he is and then suddenly she knows about him. Next, the characters all connect to one another and know each other somehow but it is never explained how? Like I am sorry but what? It seems as if the author was rushing with the book so much that it was unbearable.
Also, the characters are flat like really if there wasn't a name of each character at the beginning of each chapter I would never know whose chapter that is, that how the same they were.
So to end it all, I DNFed this book and maybe I repeat MAYBE I will give the book another shot in a few years or so but not now. I really wanted to like this book but it was just so bad.
