Anger Is My Middle Name: A Memoir by Lisbeth Zornig Andersen

4.0

TW: physical and sexual abuse.
This book is a heartbreaking but empowering memoir of this lady's childhood about how her anger helped her to break the cycle and become the children's ombudsman in Denmark to help other children who experienced the same horrific childhood like she did. She experienced so much abuse both physical and sexual throughout her young life from all walks within her life and as well as being harrowing and such a hard read it is so inspiring to read how she changed her life around. I dropped it a star because it is translated from Swedish and it isn't the best translation so it can be hard to follow.
