The multiple twists and reveals had me gobsmacked. I felt like the pacing of this was good (listened via audiobook), and you definitely felt Chelsea's frustration with her at times when the case stalled! This was like a Criminal Minds multi-episode storyline in the best way. You could feel Ellie's fear, despair, struggle to cope when she returned - the author did a great job evoking those emotions.
