Connor Cobalt carried this whole book on his back, and that's a hill I will die on.

Lilly is a sex addict. Lo is a raging alcoholic. Both are rich and spoiled and decided during their last year of high school that they were going to fake date in order to help each other hide their addictions. But in their haze, friendship turned into more and maybe, just maybe, they can mean more to each other than their own addictions.

I didn't like this book. It was so tense fo absolutely no reason. Literally the first bad book of the year. The only good thing in that book was a) Connor Cobalt, b) Rose Calloway, and c) The tensions between Lo and Lilly. There wasn't even a plot. And I could like Lo, except that I'm too close to alcoholism to like alcoholics and the fact that his "wake up call" was Lilly literally almost getting raped while he was wasted, which everyone conveniently seems to forget. And don't even get me started on Lilly. She was such a horrible main character and really, it's so good that they didn't give her any friends because someone actually liking her would have been the least realistic part of the book.
