Let's Make a Scene
by Laura Wood
If this had stronger cover art I think it would be a hit. The setting of two British actors doing a Regency period movie and resisting their chemistry, plus flashing forward to Cynthie recovering from a secret trauma (and gulp, learning to trust Jack) — all that was just fun, well-paced, and a good time rom com. The behind the scenes movie making and found family was really delightful. Overall not a full four stars because I wouldn’t re-read this, but I would recommend it to so many friends.
I want to see what the next book will be, I assume with his sister Lee, and book four with Hannah? I will definitely read, and I’m going to read the first book (definitely not essential to jumping in with this one).
