Cover Story by Susan Rigetti

The ending of this book!!
I had to read the last page twice, even then I was like, what just happened!!!????

I can't recall a time when an ending surprised me to this extent & frankly I’m kind of embarrassed that I didn’t see it coming!!!

But that’s what makes this book a great read!

Susan Rigetti takes us into the mind and nature of a con woman Cat Wolf. Coming from Russia, she has conned her way through London, San Fran & has now set her eyes on NYC!

Charming her way through Elle Magazine to become a guest contributor to setting up a fashion startup & getting funded Cat Wolf was everywhere.

The writing isn't exceptional by any means, in fact the book cruises along at a steady, albeit at a bit boring pace and you wonder if you should read it any further since it’s turning out to be predictable.

But you should, trust me - the ending more than makes up for the pace!!!

An unwitting naïve, young girl ‘Lora Ricci’ also falls victim to Cat’s schemes and the story is narrated through her in parts and in parts through Lora’s diary entries, text messages between the FBI Agents and emails between Cat & her brother!

Clearly written for people who couldn't get enough of the Anna Sorokin/Delvey , Tinder Swindler drama, this book is so unique because of the way it ended & it’ll definitely turn out to be a great tv/movie adaptation!

A worthy weekend bingeable read so bring out your wine & your popcorn and get ready to be entertained!
