This is really valuable and interesting. Even though I already knew some of it, it taught me a lot about nutrition, health, diet culture, diversity and intersectionality. I love how this book debunks myths about dieting that are still very commonly believed even by medical professionals and shows how the problem is much bigger than we thought and being unhealthy is usually not one's own fault but a result of genetics and different external factors such as stress, discrimination etc. I would recommend this to everyone and especially those who have struggled with diet culture, disordered eating, or fatphobia and related prejudice.
