The Three-Body Problem by Cixin Liu

2.0

I wanted to like this book so much. The first third of this book had thriller/suspense themes and was a page turner. The story was great, the humor was well placed, I thought this was going to be a new favorite.

The second third of the book took a different turn. I wasn’t sure that I liked it, but it wasn’t enough for me to stop reading. But it almost felt like a completely different book.

The last third of the book was so hard to finish. The book took another turn for me that I was completely uninterested in. The dialogue changed and became childish, the writing felt rushed, the explanations rushed. Again, it felt like a completely different book than the first 2/3.
