This book was pretty good. I didn't like that the were switching between perspectives of Jun Bei and Catrina. The suspense they put at the end of each chapter was a little much. I really didn't like how Jun Bei had to kill Mato and Ruse wasn't even thankful.
Mato was a little crazy but he really cared for Jun Bei. I think that she probably fell in love with him before she wiped her mind for the first time. She probably wasn't used to the feeling and was scared. But she wiped it anyhow and Mato still missed her.
But what's really funny is that I though that Mato was like her father.... But it turns out he was her first love....
Oh well.
