There's a select few authors I know that can get me out of a book hangover and Elizabeth O'Roark is one of those authors. This is the third book I have read from her and the second in her Summer series. I have read all the books in the wrong order, which just highlights to me how talented she is as a writer.

Another stellar read that follows Lucie and Caleb's romance. It does focus primarily on Lucie’s side of things, giving the reader more chapters dedicated to her point of view than Caleb's, but that is so we can sympathise and empathise with her problems with her husband, children and how Caleb has always been number one in her heart. After reading Kate and Beck’s story before this one, I was afraid I wouldn't connect with the romance between Caleb and his ‘other woman’, but Lucie and Caleb's story was wonderfully written that I couldn’t put their romance down.

O’Roark’s novels are always spicy hot and this delivers by including various scenes that add to the narrative and the romance between the main characters.

I also love how O’Roark’s romances also focus on important issues, and this shines a light on autism, mourning the loss of a child and toxic relationships.
