The heroine was just too stupid to live. She had zero inquisitiveness, she just accepted anything she was told with zero questions asked. Her moms tell her she had no parents, she just accepted it without asking what happened. A random dude comes to take her, she just goes along without asking the purpose. And the premise of her "superpower" being a seamstress is just too stupid for words.
I did quite like the writing style of the author and the way she described the world and all, but the flow of the story didn't feel great and neither did any of the characters. I was more than halfway through the first book and realized I liked absolutely none of the characters. The hero is just mentioned as being extremely handsome, over and over, but I could detect zero chemistry between the MC's. It was just... Boring.
