A Seat by the Hearth by Amy Clipston

3.0

I normally enjoy Ms. Clipston's novels, but this one fell a little short for me. Priscilla's reasons for leaving the Amish community in the first place weren't well explained, and it seemed like everyone treated her like a scapegoat. Mark's playboy ways didn't sit well with me, as I didn't think it would be realistic in an Amish community. I did like how he seemed to be the only one to care about Priscella, though! Thankfully, this was a quick read, but not one of my favorites by this author.
