This is probably my favorite book that Hur has written! I'm not very knowledgeable on Korean history, so I loved the chance to immerse myself and find a new topic to read about with the Crown Prince. Plus, I did love the dynamics explored between men and women, the filial duty of a daughter even with the stigma of being a bastard, and other things. Really, just a fantastic read!
