Broken

That is me...broken...after reading this book! Not quite sure I will ever be the same; little piece of my soul that has been siphoned away. A willing price I pay for stories like Dante and Simone's.
Both are broken souls in their own way. Honestly, they broke each others' souls through immaturity and half-truths.

Simone may have grown up with a silver spoon in her mouth, but she is far from soft and weak. Mistakes and misunderstandings caused so much extra heartache that she had to grow stronger from. It was sink or swim and Simone swam the freaking ocean.
Dante is the definition of an Italian mobster. Big, muscles on top of muscles, dark hair and dark eyes. Someone that would scare the crap out of you in a dark alley...until you get sucked into his eyes and then you are a helpless puddle on the ground. There was nothing soft about Dante, except for his love and devotion to Simone. That same love and devotion that would break him.
Nine years later, they cross paths again. Luckily, for both of them, their broken hearts and bruised egos had nothing on the love (and chemistry!!!) they still had for each other. After nine years of being shattered, they finally put each other's pieces back together.

And, seriously, the chemistry between Dante and Simone will wreck you!

Thank you, Sophie, for Dante and Simone's story. I will now leave a chunk of my soul at your feet as payment.
