Filthy Beautiful Lust by Kendall Ryan
2.0
After reading and devouring the first two novels in this intensely steamy series, I couldn't wait to jump into the third with a new - but equally yummy new leading hero. I can't think of a single thing about Pace that wasn't heart-warming - and warming in other areas wink wink
Kylie, on the other hand... my god was she frustrating! Sure, she had been hurt and she was careful in letting herself fall for Pace, even though he proved himself time and time again. But the reintroduction of Elan annoyed me beyond belief. She couldn't trust a new man but was happy enough accepting the one who had done the hurting in the first place? She hurt Pace and I felt that she proved to be the untrustworthy one.
Sophie - and later Mia - both develop their Drake men. They enrich the lives of Colton and Collins, but I don' see that with Kylie. Sure, Pace improves and changes so that he can be with Kylie, but it's a concerted effort, it isn't a natural transition due to love like Colton and Collins with their wives.
I just couldn't warm to Kylie in the same way that I did Sophie in books 1 and 2.
Loved Pace though. Did I mention that...?
