I am very much obsessed with the whole rock and roll memoir concept. I read the dirt and really liked the book so I thought id give this a shot. Ehhhhhhhh… it had tones of racism and perversion weaved in with the over arching theme of a parent less kid who had too much money than he knew what to do with and addiction problems. I don’t want to be insensitive but if one person had called the cops at one point maybe this book would’ve been 200 instead of 400 pages. Maybe he would’ve used his privilege to get out of it like he did every other time but just a thought.
