i found the first half of the book to be incredibly boring and unnecessary. the action in the last half was enjoyable, but not enough to justify the first half.
also the whole elvis thing,, was so weird.
had the author cut the fat, and made this a 250-300 page book, instead of the 500 pages, i think it couldve been a 3/3.5 read for me. atleast the author didnt drag this series out for longer than 2 books i guess.
