Book: The Saga Of Silence
Author: Nazirin Akthar Barbhuiya
Genre: Anthology (Poems and Short stories)
Pages: 142
Rating: 3.4/5

The Saga Of Silence is a debut book by Nazirin Akthar Barbhuiya which is a collection of poetry and short stories. The short stories are mainly of fiction, thriller, and horror genre.

The poetry in the collection is so soothing, thought-provoking, and at the same time intense that it connects deeply. Most of the poems in the collection are adorable and appealing and will connect with you deeply.

In the story section, my favorite part was no doubt, the fiction. The author has done a commendable job in this section and it was so intriguing and interesting to read.

Also, the cover of the book is beautiful and the title suits the book very well.

But there were some poems with which I don't feel connected but at the same time, I want to clarify that the proportion of these poems is very few. Also, the stories of the thriller and horror genre did not intrigue me so much because they were quite predictable for me and seems flat. Also, the page counting in the book is a little odd as the starting pages are not numbered and there is no blurb on the back cover.

I will recommend this book to all those who are looking for a book where they can get all of the things at the same time, both stories and poems. As the language of the book is easy, beginners can also read it without any doubt. But if you are someone who have had read a lot of short stories earlier, you will be able to predict the ending quite easily.
