Wow. Just wow. This book was an awesome read. Solveig didn’t make much an impression in Sirius HEA so I didn’t think I’d care for her but she has such great chemistry with Marduk.
I will say that this novel was more. . . brutal than the others. It’s almost read like a finale if not for the cliff hanger ending. I can’t wait to find out the truth about Freyja.
I’d like to see a story about Draco/Andromeda, Viveka/Talon, Elin/Andri, and finally Ishtar/Caelum. I could see this series easily having 5 more books added to it. This maybe the 4th series I’ve read written by McMaster and I can’t get enough of her writing. Sacrifice does seem to play an important role in majority of her novels which brings an element of reality to these fantastical series.
