A Neon Darkness by Lauren Shippen

4.0

As seen in the Bright Sessions podcast (and its subsequent spinoffs) Lauren Shippen has a gift for creating realistic (and diverse) characters I deeply care about even if they're infuriating. This book may not have the same impact for readers who are unfamiliar with the story of the podcast but if you, like me, loved the podcast and cared about Damien while simultaneously wanting to yell at him/punch him in the face this book will not disappoint.
