The History of King Lear: The Oxford Shakespeare the History of King Lear by William Shakespeare

This was such an engaging and complex play, I am sure that someone could study it for a lifetime and still not understand everything. There is so much depth of language, character and theme that this must be the most sophisticated Shakespeare tragedy.
