Picking up where The Hunt finishes, The Prey follows the lives of Gene, Sissy & the boys. They've escaped the Dome, and now are floating down the river, hoping to get to the land of "milk & honey".
Only the strongest and fittest 'Duskers' are after them.
The Scientist words repeat in their minds "keep Gene alive".
They escape the Duskers and come across a community of other humans, but something is not quite right. This may not be the land of milk & honey they were told.

Totally enjoyed this book, I loved how it picks up straight off from where book 1 finishes.
Lots of twists and turns, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
