Does the second volume of the Dream Jumpers series as good as the first? Not really.
If you haven't read the first, you might be a bit lost at first. You can cotton onto the premise of the books thru reading them, it just not be as rich as experience. Will you know that the bunny is really Ben's grandfather? Or how the sleep clinic plays into the tapestry of this world?
Curse of the Harvester is almost bloated with panels that do not seem to further the story and lend no suspense to this supposedly tenuous defeat of the bad guy. Overall, an easy and leisurely read; if you would like a book with a little more action, try the Amulet series by Kazu Kibuishi.
