A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle

Did not finish book. Stopped at 52%.

This reads like stories from when I was 12 and had all the worldbuilding in my head and explained NOTHING to the reader because.. idk why. I guess I thought it was obvious. Well let me tell you, it is not obvious. Things just seem to happen, or they cry bc something is evil, and they hold hands and kiss (but in a platonic way), or suddenly turn into a unicorn (but she used to be a star! ...oh she's crying again) and fly up over the atmosphere.
Maybe I'm not the target demographic and I wouldn't mind it if I was 8-12 but this was not for me. I gave it an honest try though!
