I can’t decide if this was cozy or not? For a book that opens with a paladin going berserk after the death of his god, it quickly turns more low-stakes. I loved the characters but I wish it had either been fully standalone or more closely connected to the rest of the series, because right now it feels more like it couldn’t decide which plot thread to follow and I don’t really feel compelled to read the other characters’ books.
