Crazy Stupid Bromance by Lyssa Kay Adams
4.0

First time I've binged read a book in a long time. I genuinely love the Bromance Book Club series. The men in it are endearing, and while the overt discussion about the bookclub books are a little too on the nose, as are some of the ways the men describe breaking stereotypes in real life, I can easily forgive all that because I've consistently loved the main characters and wanted their relationships to succeed. I really liked Noah and Alexis. My biggest complaint was with Candi and all the pressure she laid on Alexis without knowing her at all. I feel Lyssa Kay Adams tried to address this with Candi's apologies, but I also felt protective of Alexis's caring nature throughout this book. So in that sense, I think some of the storytelling worked, but I did think some of the family stuff felt forced at the end. If these characters stories were continued throughout the series I would have loved if nuggets of Alexis's family connection would have been filtered throughout the next books, rather than forced into the end.

That said I really enjoyed this novel, it's characters, and some of the interesting plot points.
