Moments of Malevolence by T.L. Smith

To be honest, I wanted to put down the book and stop reading it when I found out dark spice was not my cup of tea, but I really wanted to know what would happen with this Alaska/Sage thing. And god, I'm glad I continued.

At first, I found this "I'm a murderer, I enjoy killing" and "I'm not like other girls" awkward and funny, but it got better. There was character development, and they changed without losing their personality! And the same with their relationship! They got to know each other, and I understood their feelings for each other even though their differences! It was amazing and so rare! Of course, they were fucked up, and their relationship was nowhere near normal, but it was good and healthy for them.

So, yeah, dark romance/spice is not for me, but I will read the other two books.
