The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
by Douglas Adams
If you don’t like this book you just don’t like fun. I laughed way too many times, and yet it was fantastically thought-provoking too. Only knock is that I feel the galaxy jargon was pushed a bit further than my liking at times, though of course that’s part of the fun. Quotable for days, so I’ll just pick three that I loved.
Quotes of the Book
“Time is an illusion. Lunchtime, doubly so.”
"For a moment, nothing happened. Then, after a second or so, nothing continued to happen."
“He gestured Arthur toward a chair which looked as if it had been made out of the rib cage of a stegosaurus. ‘It was made out of the rib cage of a stegosaurus,’ explained the old man”
