The writing style and the progression of the story was not for me. The endless descriptions of the main character’s beauty almost felt suffocating towards the end and didn’t add anything to the story - I was just bored. Although the characters were interesting, I also felt like they were too distant. Too often this story seemed like a rough draft of a good one.
