Love, Lucy
by Lucille Ball
I expected to laugh, have a happy distraction during a trying personal time. Turns out, this was the right listen at the 'right' time, as I listened to Lucy Arnaz read her mother's thoughts on marriage and relationships in general. Oh, and I did laugh. After all, one needs to maintain her sense of humor when she's married to a jackass. (My words. Not hers.)
I was mesmerized by Lucille Ball's story. And I could hear the love in her daughter's voice. The narration was perfect.
