Oh, my sweet, sweet Haymitch...
This book was incredible. Rich in writing, rich in detail. So many Easter eggs, so much depth to things one didn't even know had depth. The development of the innocent Haymitch to the angry one, off to the heartbroken one was done so smoothly through the story.
The gory of the arena, the constant baseline of the propaganda deceiving it all.
One can hope for more books from Suzanne Collins, but if this is to be the last story from Panem, I would say this is the bang we didn't know we needed (who am I lying to? We always wanted more on Haymitch's story, any fan will tell you that... We sure as hell got everything we wanted and more) 💜🥺
